Beyond the Exhibition: What CIFF 2025 Revealed About GENMAX’s Future

My feet have finally recovered from four intense days at CIFF, but our team is still on the move. We’re using insights from our biggest exhibition so far.
The Numbers Tell Only Part of the Story
If I looked only at sales figures, I’d be thrilled. We had three on-site machinery sales and 17 new projects in our pipeline, exceeding our targets by 40%. But the real value is in what we learned about the future of mattress manufacturing.

The Conversations That Changed Our Roadmap
An unexpected meeting changed our product development timeline. A team from a big European mattress company met for two hours. They talked about their needs for new equipment focused on sustainability. Their insights led to an urgent call with our R&D team back at headquarters.
“Our head engineer said yesterday, ‘We’re speeding up the energy efficiency upgrades planned for 2026.’ What we learned at CIFF shows the market wants these features now, not later.””
What Worked (And What Didn’t)
Our Live Demonstration Approach
Our choice to run continuous production demos instead of short, polished presentations paid off. Visitors stayed three times longer than at past exhibitions, with many returning with colleagues.

The Spanish manufacturer who bought our EM1222 said, “Watching it run the same complex pattern perfectly for four hours answered questions I didn’t even know to ask in a normal demo.””
Where We Missed Opportunities
To be honest, our materials handling presentation fell flat. We included too much technical info in a format that didn’t resonate with floor managers looking for practical solutions. We’ve already scheduled a redesign session for next week to fix this.
The Relationships That Matter Most
Exhibitions drive sales, but the relationships we build shape our future. The Taiwanese production director who cancelled his appointments to spend more time at our booth has invited our tech team to visit his factory next month. This could open a new market segment for us.
Moving Forward Together
For customers who missed CIFF, we’ve created something better than traditional post-show materials. Starting next week, we’ll host small-group virtual demonstrations focusing on specific challenges we heard at the exhibition.

“The exhibition may be over, but the conversations it started are just beginning,” as our founder says. If CIFF 2025 taught us anything, it’s that GENMAX’s approach to solving real production challenges – not just selling machinery – sets us apart in a crowded market.
If you want to continue the conversation we began in Guangzhou, my door is always open. The future of mattress manufacturing is being written now, and we’re proud to write it together with our customers.
